Moon & Tree Shelters

2017-2019, Digital Photography

In the editing phase, layering of multiple mirrored imagery discloses the scientific symmetry of all beings and laws of nature. Pareidolia is the scientific term for seeing images, forms or other abstract concepts in randomness. In these images I create shelters to investigate seasonal cycles of death and rebirth in nature. In the process of creating these sites of refuge, I also experience the dying of the old ‘self’, birth of the new, and emergence to a new state of being.
